K-pop girl group Twice made their in-person U.S. television debut on the “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” with a performance of their English-language track “The Feels.” The show’s YouTube channel, however, mistakenly titled the video “Who Won The PA GOP Senate Primary? | North Carolina Says Farewell To Madison Cawthorn.”
The video, whose title has now been fixed, showed Twice putting on a memorable performance where they utilized Colbert’s entire stage, from guest chairs to his host desk. At the end of their performance, the girl group received a standing ovation from the crowd.

The title “GOP Senate Primary and U.S. representative Madison Cawthron” was originally intended to be used for a video of Colbert’s opening monologue.
Twitter users had a laugh and were quick to chime in with their responses to the mixup.
One Twitter user, @JDoublove, tweeted a compilation of screenshotted YouTube comments, including one that said, “Thought I would never fall for politicians but these ladies proved otherwise,” and another that said “I have never enjoyed politics as a topic but these Queens proved otherwise. Congrats to Twice for being the first girl group to win a senate primary. Breaking records wherever they go.”

The nine-member girl group has been keeping their momentum up this year by selling out the U.S. leg of their world tour, performing a two-night encore concert in their first stadium show, creating their own personal Instagram accounts and starting their first-ever solo projects.
Twice’s performance this week on Colbert’s show means they have performed on the show, well, twice. They performed a pre-recording from Seoul of “I Can’t Stop Me” in 2020. They have also now performed “The Feels” twice for a late-night U.S. television show, having a pre-recorded performance for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in October last year.
