A teenager in San Francisco was caught on camera pushing an 84-year-old Thai man to the ground in a seemingly unmotivated attack on Thursday morning, police said.

What happened: Identified by his family as Vicha Ratanapakdee, the elderly man can be seen walking alone in a neighborhood along Anza Vista and Fortuna Avenues at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, according to KTVU Fox 2.
- Antoine Watson, 19, can be seen running quickly from the right side of the video, barreling into the Ratanapakdee, a native of Thailand living in San Francisco.
- Ratanapakdee is seen being slammed into the ground, his white hat flying off upon Watson’s impact.
- Watson left Ratanapakdee lying on the sidewalk. An initial investigation later revealed that he left with a female associate.
- Ratanapakdee was found by San Francisco police and taken to the hospital for life-threatening injuries. He passed away Saturday.

Further investigation: Watson was arrested on suspicion of murder, elder abuse and assault with a deadly weapon.
- His female accomplice, Maylasia Goo, 20, was arrested for accessory after Watson’s attack.
- Both suspects are Daly City residents.
