- Amazon Prime Video shared a teaser clip of Steven Yeun in the recording booth for Season 2 of “Invincible” on their official Instagram account.
- The adult animated series, which is based on the comics of the same title written by Robert Kirkman, follows the story of 17-year-old Mark Grayson (Yuen) adjusting to his superpowers under the guidance of his superhero father, Omni-Man (voiced by J.K Simmons).
- While the release date for Season 2 is yet to be announced, the first season of “Invincible” was released last March and is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
Steven Yeun is back in the recording booth for Season 2 of Amazon Prime Video’s “Invincible” adult animated series.
Prime Video shared a teaser clip of Yeun, who voices the show’s main character Mark Grayson, on their official Instagram account. The Korean American actor can be seen putting on headphones and saying, “Can’t wait to make more… ” before he is cut off by an “Invincible” title card and the show’s theme music.

“Invincible,” which is based on the comics of the same title written by Robert Kirkman, follows the story of 17-year-old Mark adjusting to his superpowers under the guidance of his superhero father, Omni-Man (voiced by J.K Simmons). In the first season, Grayson struggles between balancing his newfound responsibilities with his personal life before discovering a dark truth about his father.
The star-studded voice cast of the animated series also includes Sandra Oh, Seth Rogen, Mark Hamill and Mahershala Ali.
The first episode premiered on March 25, 2021 and was renewed for two more seasons that April.
“I’ve talked to Robert [Kirkman], here and there. He’s super excited about it. He thinks Season 2 is gonna be even better than Season 1, which I have no doubt about,” Yeun told Comic Book in January. “If you go to his source material, ‘Invincible’ is an incredible comic, and just thinking about how much story hasn’t been told from that run, it’s going to be bonkers. I’m really excited about it.”
While the release date for Season 2 is yet to be announced, the first season of “Invincible” is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
