Popular K-pop girl group Red Velvet have made their comeback with a music video for their single “Feel My Rhythm” from their new mini-album “The Reve Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm.”

Featuring visuals ranging from colorful pieces to dark swan-like concepts, the music video has quickly climbed viewership rankings on YouTube within less than a day of its uploading, with over 6 millions at the time of this writing.

With its main theme being an imagination vacation, the beautifully crafted music video, uploaded March 21, depicts each of the five members wearing complementary outfits while set against dreamy backgrounds.

Before spinning into an uplifting dance song, the music video begins with Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Air on G String,” emphasizing the classical backdrop and ballet dances in the choreography. Due to this feature of the musical piece, fans on Twitter have created the hashtag #RedVelvetComeBach to note the famous composer.

Released on the same day as the music video, mini-album “The Reve Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm” marks Red Velvet’s first musical comeback since their last mini-album “Queendom,” which was released in August 2021. To celebrate, fans have taken to social media to express their excitement.

Many have also been left in awe at the numerous artistic references throughout the video.

Although the girl group was scheduled to hold their first live concert since the pandemic began, it has been postponed due to members Irene, Joy, and Yeri testing positive for COVID-19 last week. However, the concert remains in talks and their label SM Entertainment has shared their plans to continue with the planned release of the album.
