In honor of tonight’s @goldenglobes here is a moment I won’t forget from 2018 when @oprah was awarded #cecilbdemilleaward and gave a truly powerful and inspiring speech. This photo was taken moments after she got off stage! Thank you #Oprah for always being authentic, compassionate and a true hero! ❤️ @oprahmagazine
May Lee is the first Korean American to become a news anchor for CNN. She was the co-host of Oprah Winfrey’s women’s network Oxygen Media and a main anchor at CNBC Asia. For over 30 years, she has covered world changing events like the 1997 Handover of Hong Kong, the 9/11 attack on New York City, and Hollywood’s “Me Too” movement, among many other important global events. She’s interviewed some of the most prominent figures in history including Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Henry Kissinger, Lee Kuan Yew, Yasser Arafat, Al Gore, Jackie Chan, Monica Lewinsky, and more.
