After it was announced last year that Donnie Yen would be returning for ‘IP Man 4,’ the martial arts superstar is finally giving us the first look from the set.
While his posts so far of the cast and crew during the first week of filming don’t reveal all that much, the fourth (and probably last) installment of the series will allegedly have the master journey to the U.S. to work with Bruce Lee, according to MovieWeb.
I believe Ipman movies inspired millions not because we had created a hero,it’s because it was about the spirit and the integrity of a man,a man who love his family and country,April 7,first day of shooting, from the first three episodes,I’m again, continuing this 4th and probably the last missionary journey!
“IP Man 4” will also be coming out more than 10 years after the first “IP Man” was released in 2008. Director Wilson Yip will be returning to direct the fourth film.
For those who aren’t yet fans of the series, the “IP Man” films roughly follow the story of the real Ip Man, the Kung Fu master who lived from 1893 to 1972 who created the fighting style Wing Chun and was the master of legendary martial artist Bruce Lee.
