Chinese Netizens React to Dolce & Gabbana With Hilarious Videos, Throwing Products in Garbage

Dolce & Gabbana apologized after the luxury fashion brand released a racist ad showing an Asian model attempting to eat Italian food with chopsticks, but it was too little, too late as netizens around the world expressed their disgust.

The ad not only resulted in backlash, but the subsequent apology video from designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana also drew criticism.

 

D&G has since taken down the campaign, but Diet Prada managed to post a video of the “chopsticks eating” series on their Instagram page.

Aside from being accused of racism, the brands Shanghai fashion show was canceled online stores such as Suning.com, removed all D&G items from their shelves.

User @datuk.doggo wasn’t falling for the Italian designers’ apology and decided to replace the Dolce & Gabbana logo with “Dead & Gone.”
