Disney’s ‘Aladdin’ Remake Found Its Jafar and He’s Hotter Than the Desert

Twitter users are going nuts over how attractive Disney’s pick is to play the main antagonist Jafar in the live-action reboot of “Aladdin”.

The grand vizier will be played Dutch-Tunisian actor Marwan Kenzari, who appeared in MGM’s “Ben-Hur,” Universal’s “The Mummy,” and Netflix’s action thriller “What Happened to Monday.”

He is also set to star in the upcoming “Murder on the Orient Express,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The 34-year-old actor joins Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud, who were cast as Princess Jasmine and Aladdin after it was initially reported that Disney and director Guy Ritchie had a difficult time casting the role of Aladdin.

“Finding a male lead in his 20s who can act and sing has proven difficult — especially since the studio wants someone of Middle-Eastern or Indian descent,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Will Smith is set to play the Genie and former “Saturday Night Live” member Nasim Pedrad also joins the live-action remake.

Kenzari landing the role of Jafar has many netizens thirsty and drooling over how hot the man is. Check it out:

And while Dev Patel, 27, and Riz Ahmed, 34, were among the frontrunners, Disney opted to go with a relative newcomer to fill the role of Aladdin.
