Their wins for Top Duo/Group is their third-time win in that category following their 2019 and 2021 wins. They also won Top Song Sales Artist last year.
BTS was not in attendance for the awards, and their wins were announced ahead of the award show held in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena because they are working on their upcoming album following their in-person Vegas concerts. The group continues to make milestones ahead of a possible looming military enlistment.
Other Asian artists that won at the awards this year include Olivia Rodrigo with seven wins, including in categories like Top New Artist and Top Female Artist, Bruno Mars for Top R&B Tour for “Bruno Mars at Park MGM” and Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak) for Top R&B Song for “Leave The Door Open.”
