South Korean pop group BLACKPINK has set several new Guinness World Records for their recently released single “How You Like That.”
The new music video, which garnered more than 86.3 million views when it was first released on June 26, set the new record for “Most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours,” “Most viewed music video on YouTube in 24 hours” and “Most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group,” according to Guinness World Records.
BLACKPINK surpassed BTS who previously held the three Guinness World Record titles for their single “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey in April 2019.
The group, which consists of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa, is a returning record holder. BLACKPINK previously held the record for the most-viewed YouTube video in 24 hours for their single “Kill This Love,” which received 56.7 million views at the time.

Other singles that have received the honor include Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next” with 55.4 million views and Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” with 43.2 million views.
“How You Like That” also holds the titles for “Most viewers for the premiere of a video on YouTube” and “Most viewers for the premiere of a music video on YouTube” after the platform confirmed the single reached 1.66 million peak concurrent viewers. The recent addition brings the group’s number of records to five.
BLACKPINK recently created a massive buzz for collaborating with Lady Gaga for “Sour Candy.”
“How You Like That” has been viewed more than 176 million times as of this writing.
