Aespa made fans’ “Dreams Come True” when it was announced today that they will make their U.S. concert debut by performing at Coachella during its second week. They will be the first K-pop girl group to perform on the music festival’s main stage.
Blackpink originally made history by becoming the first ever K-pop girl group to perform at the festival when they took to the Sahara Stage in 2019. Other Korean artists like Epik High, Bibi and Jackson Wang have already rocked the festival during its first weekend. 2NE1 leader CL even surprised fans with a group reunion performance.
There had been speculation among fans that Aespa would attend Coachella when the group posted to their official Instagram story asking for activity and food recommendations in California leading up to Coachella. Another story showed the girl group playing songs by The Weeknd, one of the headlining artists at the festival this year.
